ÅngströmLap® Sequoia Diamond Lapping Film Disc - 5 inch 3µm (micron)

Connectivity Solutions

The ÅngströmLap Sequoia Diamond Lapping Film is an abrasive film used for polishing the end-face of fiber optic connectors. Its purpose is to shape the fiber geometries, such as restoring or forming the Radius of Curvature and Apex Offset of the ferrule. Diamond film exhibits an extended lifespan compared to conventional films, and its high-cut rate enables more efficient material removal for a faster polishing process.

The 5" film disc is the standard size for the Domaille APM-HDC-xxxx Series, Seikoh Giken SFP-5XX Series and Ultra Tec UT-8812 or UT-8808 Polishing Machines.
